The beginnings of my stamp closet

Ever since we sold our Fort Wayne house I knew that I would be moving all of my stamping supplies to The Villages. But where to store it all? I decided on the guest room closet. My original idea was to create a desk workspace inside the closet with storage all around it. After having several closet designers take a look I soon realized that I would be giving up a lot of storage to have the desk in the closet. I finally made the choice to put a desk elsewhere and utilize the entire closet for storage. I was luck to find "Buz". He is my closet designer. He was so great to work with and I feel I have the best solution for a difficult closet. He installed most everything on Monday. He wasn't able to have the drawers for me so those will be installed when I return from Chicago. Here's the closet as it is right now:

He installed shelves in the difficult to reach ends of the closet. One side is all stamp sets. The other will hold some of my "tools".

The center is all adjustable shelving. The lower right will have two lateral file drawers that I can store my cardstock in.

Someone asked me the other day how often I stamp. Wow, it seems like never because all of my supplies were packed away in storage tubs. But now when I return to The Villages I will have everything available to me. Hopefully I'll find time to create some new cards. I'm ready!
