My BOO Banner

One of the many blogs that I follow is Kimberly Van Diepen's Stampin by the Sea.  I started following her blog after attending the Stampin' Up! convention in July.  She was awarded the top US demonstrator for the past year.  Even though she earned the award for sales and recruiting I'm mostly impressed by her creative talent.  A couple of weeks ago she posted a fabulous banner that she had made for Shelli Gardner (CEO of Stampin' Up!).  I loved it and wanted to make my own.  Check out THIS POST to see Kimberly's original banner that was my inspiration.

I had some time alone today while Gary was at the grocery so I decided to make this banner.  Kimberly's had TONS of product on it that I don't even own so I had to make due with what I had.  Here's my version.

This was so much fun.  I put together the basic banner and then just kept adding embellishments.  Even when I thought I was done I went back and added more.

This banner will be a part of my Halloween display at my next stamp class at Fish Hawk Rec Center.  The class is 10:00 am on Thursday, October 14.  I already have 12 of 20 spots filled so contact me if you haven't signed up and want to attend.
