A Quick Card Using DSP

Do you ever find yourself needing to run out the door in just a few minutes and you wish you had taken the time to make a card for someone that you're going to see?  But who has time then to find the stamp set you want to use, figure out what color combo to use, etc.?  An easy way to make a cute, coordinated card is to base the card design on Designer Series Paper.  Just use the colors from the paper for your card stock, add a sentiment and some embellishments and you're all set.  Today's card took me just a few minutes to pull together.  I love the color combo of Bravo Burgundy and Marina Mist.  I probably wouldn't even have thought of that combo until I saw it in the DSP.  All the coordinating colors for the DSP are listed in the catalog.  I printed them and store with each envelope of DSP so I know quickly what colors to reach for to complete my card.

Going to have to take a new look at that particular pack of DSP...I bought some during the "Sneak Peek" period last spring but haven't bonded with the DSP, but I love the card you made using it. Very cute and I agree, the colors are very nice together. Who'd have thought???? See ya soon!
