Each person that completed the catalog scavenger hunt at the open house could select one of the matchbook Post-It note holders to take home.
These hold the little 1-7/8" x 1-3/8" notes, just the perfect size for marking your favorite pages in the new catalog.
These are so quick and easy to make. You will need the following supplies to make one.
Card Stock: one piece 2-1/8" x 5-1/2" for the matchbook (Gumball Green in pictures below)
one piece 2" x 1-1/2" for matting on the front (Summer Starfruit in pictures below)
one piece 1-7/8" x 1-3/8" for the stamped image (Whisper White in pictures below)
staple
Instructions: Score the card stock for the matchbook at 2", 2-1/4", and 4-3/4".
Fold on the score lines and staple bottom flap.
Stamp image on 1-7/8" x 1-3/8" piece of card stock.
Adhere stamped image onto 2" x 1-1/2" piece of card stock.
Adhere stamped and matted piece onto front of matchbook.
Adhere Post-It notes to inside. I took a 100-sheet pack of Post-Its and divided into fourths so each matchbook holds 25 Post-It notes.
Tuck front flap into stapled fold.
Want to step it up just a bit? Add a piece of ribbon knotted in the front.
Isn't this cute? Try making one. They are really fun and easy. Have questions? Just email me and I'll answer any questions you have about the process.

so very cute, CArol! You always come up with the cutest projects! I think I will have a special "bonus project" for those who complete the scavenger hunt at my Open House...a make and take to do the matchbook post it! They love making things themselves and there is no way I could make enough of them to have ready anyway. You give me constant inspiration, thanks!
These are so adorable! Thanks for sharing how they're made.
