Hi Everyone! I'm back to blogging, finally. My back is much better. I'm busy working during tax season but I still have lots of cards to show you. And I have lots more I want to make and share.
Earlier this monht I attended Stampin' Up!'s Leadership Conference. Three days with 1500 stampers...fabulous!! I participated in Lyssa's Swap (same one I did at Convention last summer). This is a highly organized swap with lots of talented stampers. No pressure, huh? My customers always want ideas for masculine cards. Since SU came out with a couple of great stamp sets for this kind of card in the new Spring Catalog I decided to use them for my swap. This card features Dapper Dad and Beyond Plaid.
With all the argyle in the stamps I thought the Argyle embossing folder would be the perfect background.
The embellishment uses the new Natural 7/16" Trim Ribbon. Isn't it perfect for masculine cards? I just tucked it behind a Cajun Craze button and tied it all together with Linen Thread.

I am so happy you are better. Funny I like this card a lot even though you think it is not a Carol card and funny I picked out that this is not a Carol card.
Happy Saturday
