3-D Scallop Circle Flower

I missed a lot of paper trends while I was working this winter. One of them is 3-D flowers. There are so many cute ideas out there to make different paper flowers. This one is made with the Scallop Circle Punch.

While I did have some stamps and paper to work with this winter, all my punches were back in Florida. So this morning I finally got around to making one of these flowers. It's so easy. Just punch 8 scallop circles out of designer paper. Scrunch them into tight little balls and then flatten back out. After that you just stack them up, punch a hole in the middle, and insert a brad. Then just work with it scrunching and fluffing to make the flower.

You can use these on lots of other 3-D projects or add to a card. Obviously this will need to be a hand-delivered card as it won't fit in an envelope. But wouldn't this look cute peeking out of a Mother's Day gift bag?
