I just love it when a stamp set is so versatile that you can use it in more than one way. My favorite set from the Holiday Mini catalog has to be French Foliage. The leaves in this set are just so beautiful.
Now several demos have started using one of the leaves in this set to create poinsettias. How clever is that? Here's my version.
I simply stamped twelve leaves in Cherry Cobbler ink onto Cherry Cobbler card stock and then cut them all out. I then punched a 1-1/4" circle from Cherry Cobbler card stock and adhered the leaves to the circle using mini glue dots. Six leaves on the bottom layer and six on the top. I finished it off with a big glob of glue and Champagne Glass Glitter.
What a great embellishment for a Christmas card. This one is 5-1/4" square to allow plenty of room for my poinsettia.
