Paper Weaving with Ultra Thick Embossing Powder

This afternoon I went to my advanced stampers group meeting at Sea Breeze.  Suzanne had a great project to share with us.  We wove strips of paper, then stamped, then embossed twice with Ultra Thick Embossing Enamel (UTEE).

I wove 3/4" strips of Very Vanilla cardstock, then stamped with the poinsettia image from the Watercolor Winter stamp set.  I colored the image with a Cherry Cobbler marker and then embossed it.  Look how shiny and pretty it is.

The Cherry Cobbler actually looks a lot darker after you cover it with two layers of embossing powder.  I used this for the focal point of my card.
