Door Prizes for This Week

Wednesday, February 8, 2012  at 7:51 AM
I have to say that my second favorite thing about the Canal Street classes is making the door prizes.  (My favorite thing is the awesome stampers that show up!)  I love to make little papercrafted projects.  This week I am giving away a boxed set of note cards.  Each box contains (4) 3 x 3 note cards with envelopes.  These aren't mailable size but just perfect for slipping in a gift bag.  I've got two of these - one for the morning class and one for the afternoon class.  Hope to see you there.

Here are the measurements if you'd like to make a set of your own.
  1. Each note card is cut 3" x 6" and scored at 3".  Using 12" x 12" card stock makes for no waste.
  2. The little envelopes are available from Stampin' Up!  They are Mini Square Envelopes measuring 3-1/8" x 3-1/8" (item #107309, p. 182 in the catalog).
  3. For the box, cut card stock 3-5/8" x 8-1/2".  Score at 3-1/4", 4", 7-1/4" and 8".
  4. Score again along the bottom edge at 5/8".  You will need to cut up from the bottom 1/2" on each flap.
  5. Assemble box with strong adhesive such as Sticky Strip.
I've added some pictures to help you see the cuts and folds.
