Black & White

I love the crisp look of black and white on cards so when I saw that there would be a Black & White Card Swap at convention I signed up.  The rules stated that you could only use black and white.  I sometimes like to add a small pop of color to a black/white card but that wasn't allowed for this swap.

I created each of designs for the little squares by stamping a design and then punching.  It was a lot of work but Carrie came over and helped me work on these cards on Saturday.  (Thanks Carrie!!)

Supplies (all Stampin' Up!)
Stamps:  Delicate Doilies, Tags til Christmas, Tea Shoppe, Artistic Etchings, Betsy's Blossoms, Friendly Phrases
Card Stock:  Basic Black, Whisper White
Ink:  Jet Black StazOn Ink Pad
Accessories:  Pearl Basic Jewels
Tools:  1" Square Punch, Postage Stamp Punch, Bitty Banners Framelits, Big Shot

I agree with with you on B&W - very striking, I like this card and am going to try one myself for sure! I do think trying yellow or red ribbon could be an interesting variation.. I really like this!! Lois
