THE Ornament

You know the one I'm talking about.  The ornament on the front cover of the Holiday Catalog.  I've been wanting to make one but knew it would take a lot of time and a lot of fussing.  Well, it did!  A couple of friends came over yesterday morning and we each made one.  I really had visions of making three.  Maybe another day. 

Actually the version that I made takes much less time than the one from the catalog.  My version required no stamping and I could cut 4 ornaments at once instead of one at a time.  There are several video tutorials in the blog world on making this ornament but the best one I've found is from Linda Heller.  Actually she has two videos - one for the stamped version and then the one that I used where the ornament is made from DSP.  Click HERE to view her tutorials. 

When I was finished Gary asked me if I was making enough for our entire tree.  Maybe I'll get him to help me.  That might keep him from asking silly questions like that in the future!
