Card Measurements

I had a customer ask me about measurements for standard cards with layers. 

For a standard card that fits in an A2 envelope (Stampin' Up!'s medium envelopes)
The envelope will measure 5-3/4" x 4-3/8".
Your card will measure 5-1/2" x 4-1/4" (landscape orientation)
                              or   4-1/4" x 5-1/2" (portrait orientation)

Cut the card stock as follows:

Card Base 8-1/2" x 5-1/2", fold in half.
or for a tent card
Card Base 11" x 4-1/4", fold in half

First layer  4" x 5-1/4"

Second layer 3-3/4" x 5"

This is just a basic card but it gives you some measurements to start with.
