Chalked Tulips

I've been playing a little with my new Framed Tulips embossing folder.  After running my card stock through the Big Shot using this folder I highlighted the tulips with the chalks from my Stampin' Pastels.

I used a Q-tip to rub some color onto the raised part of the tulip frame.  The first one I did was Perfect Plum chalk on Whisper White card stock.

Then I tried Whisper White chalk on Marina Mist card stock.  It almost looks like Wedgewood China to me.

And finally I was trying for more of a tone-on-tone look so I used Rose Red chalk on Pretty In Pink card stock.

Using the chalks just seems to really show off this embossing folder.  I'll post my cards over the weekend that I made using these embossed frames.

This folder is just one of the embossing folders that you can choose for FREE with my Big Shot Special.  For more details go to THIS POST.
