Pansies, Pansies Everywhere

I have been having so much fun making these cute little pansies. Several bloggers in the stamping world have been featuring these pansies made using the Floating Reinker Technique and Stampin' Up!'s butterfly punch. It's a messy project but can get addictive. While making them I thought they would never turn into anything that I would want to use on a card, but once they dried and I finished them they were so cute. They're not perfect, just like real flowers.

I taught this technique to the Advanced Stampers Group on Friday afternoon. It was so much fun to see all the different variations of colors. Here are a couple of cards that I made with the finished pansies.

Supplies (all Stampin' Up!, unless noted)
Stamp Sets: Baroque Motifs, All Holidays
Card Stock: Vintage Violet (retired), Barely Banana
Ink: Vintage Violet Classic (retired), Almost Amethyst and Barely Banana Reinkers
Accessories: Vintage Violet Stitched Grosgrain Ribbon (retired), silver brad (non-SU)
Tools: Big Shot Die-Cut Machine, Top Note Bigz Die

Supplies (all Stampin' Up! unless noted)
Card Stock: Regal Rose, Pink Pirouette, Whisper White
Ink: Regal Rose and Pretty in Pink Reinkers
Accessories: Pretty in Pink 5/8" Satin Ribbon, Sticky Strip, silver brad (non-SU)
Tools: Big Shot Die-Cut Machine, Scallop Oval Frame Die (non-SU), Perfect Polka Dots Textured Impressions Embossing Folder

If you weren't at the Advanced Stampers Group on Friday and want to see how to make these pansies check out Dawn Olchefske's video tutorial HERE.

Have fun. But I'm warning you...you can't make just one!
