Tropical Rattan

The Summer Mini Catalog debuts today with some great stamps and other products. My favorite new stamp set is Tropical Party. This set of five stamps includes a palm tree, a palm frond, a tropical drink in a coconut and two tropical flowers. It coordinates with the new Island Oasis designer series paper. The colors in this paper are Tempting Turquoise, Pumpkin Pie, So Saffron, Rose Red, and Old Olive.

The new Square Lattice embossing folder can be used to make paper that resembles rattan. Just brayer ink onto it before running through the Big Shot machine. I used Kraft card stock with Soft Suede classic ink.

After stamping the palm tree I sponged some soft suede ink over it to give it an aged look.
