Back to the Pretty Stuff

Sunday, August 29, 2010  at 7:00 AM
I had fun making the Halloween cards over the last couple of days.  But it is still August!  I'll be working on more Halloween and fall themed projects later next month but for now I just want to get back to some of the pretty stamps on my shelves.

My card for today features the use of a new toy.  I bought a mini sewing machine just for sewing on cards.  I have used my Husqvarna on cards before (gasp!!) but I really don't like to do that.  So, I bought a Janome Sew Mini.  It is just perfect for cards.

I stitched around the edge of the stamped card stock.  Then I sewed some lace trim on the bottom.  The center of the flowers have Crystal Effects for some added shine.
