Using the Distressing Essentials Kit

Monday, August 30, 2010  at 10:18 AM
Today I used my new Distressing Essentials Kit for the first time.  This is new in the catalog released last month.
It comes with stamping spots, a sanding block, an applicator, and emery boards.  I used the stamp applicator with Tea Stain and Mahogany stamping spots.  First I misted Very Vanilla card stock on both sides and crumpled it into a ball.  After smooting it out I rubbed the inks directly onto the paper then misted again and smoothed the ink around with the stamp applicator.  After I was finished I just used my heat tool to dry the distressed card stock.

I used this piece for a background in the card that I made today.
