Cards from Fish Hawk

Yesterday's class at Fish Hawk was great.  Lots of seasoned stampers that have been loyal to our class.  In case you weren't able to attend here are the cards that we made.

The first two cards are from Carrie.  She had some great new card folds for us to try.

Her second card is a twisted easel card.  I love this design.

My first card is a CASE of a swap card I received at the Orlando Regional.  The demo didn't put her contact info on the back so I don't know who to give credit to.  Each stamper was given the option of So Saffron, Bashful Blue, or Pink Pirouette flowers.  The favorite was So Saffron but at least one person chose the other colors.

Supplies (all Stampin' Up!)
Stamp:  Sanded Background Stamp
Card Stock:  Always Artichoke, Chocolate Chip, Whisper White, Bashful Blue, So Saffron, Pink Pirouette
Ink:  Chocolate Chip, Marina Mist, Soft Suede, Pretty in Pink, Stampin' Markers
Accessories:  Stampin' Dimensionals
Tools:  Scallop Circle Punch, 3/4" Circle Punch, Perfect Polka Dots Embossing Folder, Framed Tulips Embossing Folder, Big Shot Die-Cutting Machine, Stamping Sponges

The second card uses the Ornament Punch to create a vase for the flowers.

Supplies (all Stampin' Up!)
Stamp Sets:  Pocket Silhouettes, Teeny Tiny Wishes
Card Stock:  Basic Black, Real Red, Whisper White
Ink:  Old Olive, Real Red, Basic Black Stampin' Marker
Accessories:  Basic Black 1/8" Taffeta Ribbon, Mini Glue Dots
Tools:  Square Lattice Embossing Folder, Finial Press Embossing Folder, Big Shot Die-Cutting Machine, Ornament Punch, Curly Label Punch, Itty Bitty Punch Pack

We added a couple of things to our semi-monthly class.  Several sentiment stamps were available for stamping on the inside of cards.  And Carrie gave away a door prize of some scrapbook items.  We'll be continuing both of these at future classes.  The next class is Thursday, June 9 at 9:00 am at the Fish Hawk Rec Center.  Let us know if you want to attend.

great cards! Wish I could have joined you..will have to start planning visits around the Fish Hawk class schedule...my husband won't mind, he can golf any day we're there but stamping is a little more limited. ;-) Jan

We wish you were there, too, Jan. The cards were absolutely beautiful. I commented the first one was the prettiest card I'd ever made. Then I said the same about the second card and on through all four cards. Carol and Carrie are so talented. We're lucky to have them.
