Sometimes it's better to receive than give...

Did I just say that?  Well it can be if you are receiving a handmade card from someone!  Last week I had the pleasure to meet a fellow stamper that I have been emailing with for a few weeks.  A fellow demo visited The Villages to check out our community.  So I invited her to my Fish Hawk class and then to lunch with some other demos here.

She made this adorable card for me.

Thank you, Jan!  I can't wait to stamp with you in my new studio the next time you're here in The Villages.

Wow, I never expected to see my card when I logged onto your blog today! Just for the record, I cased the idea from Connie Babbert, a talented SU demo buddy out of the Columbus, OH area (not sure, I think she's in Dublin) but I got the idea for masking the teacup and pot from a card I saw on her blog then made it my own for a Simply Stampin' card class at my local library in O'Fallon, IL. They all liked it and I loved it so much that I made a few extras!

Can't wait to see you again, thanks so much for your hospitality! Jan Hoyt
