Sew Simple

I used to sew all the time.  In fact, in high school, I made almost all of my clothes.  I even made my wedding dress.  But over the years I have not sewn nearly as much.  It just seems to go in spurts.  I bought a new sewing machine when my daughter got married and made flower girl dresses (4) and ring bearer vests (4).  Then when we moved to Florida I made all the window treatments and pillows for our new villa.  Now I'm kind of back to a slump where I'm not sewing so much.  But I just love the Sew Suite line of products from Stampin' Up!  For this card I stamped the Pattern Pieces stamp onto tissue paper, crumpled it up, and then sponged it with some Crumb Cake ink.  What a fun little card!

Very cute! I took sewing in Home Ec during high school (yes, a VERY long time ago) and the fanciest things I made were flannel nightgowns and the "smock tops" which were popular back in the early '70's....definitely would not be wearing any of those now, don't want people thinking I am "expecting"! Anyway, I am not sure that I could even remember how to thread a bobbin anymore! But I still loved your little card...very cute!
