CASEing the Holiday Mini Catalog

Saturday, October 1, 2011  at 5:14 AM
My stamp clubs met last Thursday and one of the cards we made came straight from the new mini catalog.  One of my club members had requested that we make this card because she thought it looked so pretty in the catalog.  (You can see the card on page 23.)  I only changed a couple of very small details.  I changed the color of the green scallops as well as the punch to make them.  Then we used an embossing folder instead of a texture plate for the background.  I think she was very pleased with the end result.  Thanks, Joyce, for selecting this beautiful card.

You can see this card in person today at the World Card Making Day Open House at Lake Miona.  If you're in The Villages stop by and say hi.  I'll be there from 10:00 to 2:00.
