The Wreath Door Card

Saturday, October 22, 2011  at 5:00 AM
I had some people ask for the measurements on the card from Canal Street that featured a door with a Christmas wreath so I'm posting the instructions for that card today.

Always Artichoke
5-1/2" x 8-1/2" (scored and folded in half for card base)
1/2" x 3-1/2" (for sentiment banner)
Whisper White
(2) 4-1/8" x 5-3/8" - use one piece for front of card and the other for the inside
(2) 1-1/2" x 2-3/4"
(2) 1-1/2" x 1-3/4"
(2) 1-1/4" x 2-1/2"
(2) 1-1/4" x 1-1/2"

Old Olive
scrap at least 3" square (for wreath)

Real Red
scraps for holly berries
To cut the wreath, punch Old Olive card stock first with the 1-1/4" Circle Punch.  Then using the 2-3/8" Scallop Circle Punch, center the punched circle and punch the scallop.

Sponge all the white pieces with Sahara Sand ink.  Stamp the wreath with any leaf or pine stamp (I used a stamp from the Autumn Days set).

Punch five 1/4" circles from Real Red for the holly berries.  Use a brad for the door knob and add a Real Red ribbon to the wreath.

I found a double door wreath card on another blog yesterday.  I've copied the card and will display it at Canal Street next week.
